COLUMBUS, Ohio – No. 12 Ohio State won six-of-seven races Saturday on Senior Day against No. 20 Indiana and Michigan State at the Griggs Reservoir, home course of the Buckeyes.
Ohio State won the first six races before Indiana claimed the final race of the day in the first varsity eight event.
Ohio State, the defending Big Ten Champion, has raced in four events this season to date after traveling to Camden, N.J., for the IVY/Big Ten Dust Up March 25 and taking on both Virginia and Duke in the ACC/Big Ten Regatta in Charlottesville, Va.
The last time out at the 2023 Big Ten Invite at Nathan Benderson Park in Sarasota, Florida, the Buckeyes finished the two-day event with 10 victories.
The Buckeyes finished in the No. 8 spot at the 2022 NCAA Championships after winning the 2022 Big Ten Regatta, the 10th conference title and first for Kate Sweeney, now in her fourth season as head coach of the Buckeyes.
