COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 24 Ohio State women’s golf team heads to Pittsburgh to compete in the Big Ten Championship at Fox Chapel Golf Club April 21-23.
- The Buckeyes are coming off a team victory at the Lady Buckeye Invitational, which was held at the OSU Scarlet Course last weekend. It was the 17th time Ohio State has captured the tournament title.
- Ohio State shot an overall team score of 854 (-10) through 54 holes, including shooting a program record 36-hole score of 558 (-18) through the first two rounds. Caley McGinty was the top individual finisher for the Buckeyes; she finished third after carding a 54-hole score of 211 (-5).
- Ohio State tied for third at last year’s Big Ten Championship with a three-round score of 864 (+12).
- The Buckeyes’ lineup for the weekend is McGinty, Kary Hollenbaugh, Jillian Bourdage, Lauren Peter, Aneka Seumanutafa and Kailie Vongsaga. Vongsaga will carry the Folds of Honor bag.
- Of those competing this weekend, Seumanutafa and Peter placed the best at last year’s Big Ten Championship; they tied for 17th place, each carding a score of 220 (+7).
- McGinty is averaging a team-best 71.79 18-hole score. She has finished in the top-five of three tournaments this spring; she won the Westbrook Invitational, placed second at the Mountain View Collegiate and third at the Lady Buckeye.
- Hollenbaugh is averaging a 73.52. Her best finish was at the Westbrook Invitational, where she tied for third place.
- Bourdage is averaging a 74.67 per 18 holes and has turned in top-20 finishes in four of five tournament this spring season.
- Peter cards a 73.81 on average and has finished in the top 20 of three tournaments during the spring.
- Seumanutafa is averaging a 74.67 per 18 holes and Vongsaga is averaging a 74.00.

- The Buckeyes will find out their NCAA Regional site next Wednesday, April 26. The regionals will be held from May 8-10.
