No. 7 Buckeyes Now 8-0 in B1G after 4-1 Road Win vs. Spartans

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 7 Ohio State women's tennis team came back after dropping the doubles point to defeat Michigan State, 4-1, Friday outside in East Lansing, Mich. The Buckeyes, on a nine-match winning streak, are 8-0 in Big Ten play and 16-5 on the year.
In Doubles
- With a come-from-behind court one win, the Spartans took the doubles point.
- Ohio State's duo of Danielle Willson and Kolie Allen were 6-2 winners on court two vs. Issey Purser and Marley Lambert. The Buckeye tandem is a team-best 11-2 in dual matches.
- The Spartans followed with a 6-3 victory over Shelly Bereznyak and Isabelle Boulais by Dagmar Zdrubeck and Juliette Nask.
- On court one, Liisa Vehvilainen and Ayshe Can won the final five games against No. 26-ranked Irina Cantos Siemers and Sydni Ratliff for a 7-5 match win and 1-0 Spartan lead.
In Singles
- With four straight set wins in singles, Ohio State notched the Big Ten victory.
- 22 Irina Cantos Siemers dropped just one game in each set vs. Issey Purser on court one to tie the team match at one. She is 11-4 in dual play, with four wins in a row, and 18-9 overall.
- Lucia Marzal defeated Dagmar Zdrubecka, 6-1, 6-2, on court four to put the Buckeyes ahead, 2-1. Marzal is on an 11-match winning streak and is 14-1 this spring, with a 21-10 overall mark.
- Danielle Willson was a 6-2, 6-3 winner on court six against Nicole Conard, moving the Ohio State lead to 3-1. Willson is 7-0 in completed dual matches this spring.
- Isabelle Boulais clinched the Buckeye victory. On court three, Boulais was a 6-4, 6-4 winner against Marley Lambert.
- Sydni Ratliff on court one and Kolie Allen on court five both dropped their first set. Ratliff won the second and was ahead in the third when play was suspended. Allen led her second set 5-3 before the match was abandoned.
