COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 6 Ohio State men’s gymnastics team (10-3, 1-1 B1G) hosts No. 1 Oklahoma (12-1, 3-1 MPSF) and No. 4 Penn State (3-2, 1-2 B1G) for a tri-meet on Saturday at 3:30 p.m. ET in the Covelli Center. The meet will be broadcast live on BTN.
Admission and parking are free for all regular season home men’s gymnastics meets. Please see the map above for details on Saturday’s parking availability as other events are being hosted in the area and tell the parking attendants that you are attending the gymnastics meet. Senior day recognitions will take place following the conclusion of the meet.
- Ohio State is coming off its best team performance of the season in a 409.950-387.600 win at No. 11 Army this past Saturday. The Buckeyes had the higher team score on each event and had five individual event winners.
- Freshman all-arounder Caden Spencer was named Big Ten Gymnast and Freshman of the Week on Tuesday after winning three event titles and earning three personal-best scores against Army. Spencer also finished second in his fourth and final event of the meet and stuck his vault. He was also named Gymnast of the Week by the College Gymnastics Association.
- Junior all-arounder Kameron Nelson qualified for the USA Senior Men’s National Team at the Winter Cup on floor and vault as he had the highest combined floor score of the competition (27.878) and the second-highest combined vault score (29.004).
