
Five Buckeyes Post Career Best Performances vs. Murray State & UTEP

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State University rifle team fired a team score of 4701 against Murray State (4706), and UTEP (4587) on Saturday. The team was led by Viktor Kiss who had a program record aggregate score of 1187. Two other Buckeyes, John Hamilton (1173) and Eva Horgan (1158) also finished with career-best aggregate scores.
In smallbore, the team fired a score of 2338 led by Viktor Kiss (592) and Paige Hollowell who fired a career best score of 590. They were followed by Lillian Warren (579), Adrienne Hanson (577), and Derek Keiser (576) who rounded out team scoring. John Hamilton's career best 582 led the way for Ohio State's individuals and he was followed by Dylan Gregory (571), Eva Horgan (570), Nathan Wehrlen (567), Philip Becker (567), Tyler Hanson (562), and Frank Steyn (554).
In air rifle, the team posted a score of 2363 led by Viktor Kiss' 595 and a career best 594 from Lillian Warren. Derek Keiser (588), Paige Hollowell (586), and Adrienne Hanson (584) rounded out team scoring. John Hamilton again led the way for the individuals with a score of 591. He was followed by a career best score of 588 for Eva Horgan. Frank Steyn (585), Tyler Hanson (582), Nathan Wehrlen (581), Philip Becker (580), and Dylan Gregory (580) rounded out individual scoring.
Coach Tanoue: "Saturday was another solid day for the team and it was exciting to see quite a few personal best performances as well as a new program record aggregate score. We have three more matches over the next two weeks to round out the fall portion of the schedule and I know that the team is eager to continue pushing for more great performances."
Ohio State travels to Akron on Friday, November 10 to take on the Zips.
