COLUMBUS, Ohio – All-American Laurence Wootton repeated as the Big Ten Midfielder of the Year and earned his fourth Big Ten First Team All-Big Ten award following a vote by the conference coaches, the league office announced Friday.
Wootton is the first Buckeye to earn All-Big Ten First Team honors four times. No other Buckeye has earned the honor more than twice. He also earned the 2022 Big Ten Midfielder of the Year Award and is the only two-time winner of the honor in Ohio State history.
Ohio State owns 36 First Team All-Big Ten honors in its history.
