
Tuman Named Big Ten Freshman of the Week

This is her second time this season receiving the award.
COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Big Ten Conference released its final weekly awards on Monday following the conclusion of the regular season this past weekend. Freshman setter Mia Tuman was named Big Ten Freshman of the Week for the second time this season, previously receiving the honor on Nov. 6.
Tuman averaged 10.86 assists/set and 2.29 digs/set this past weekend to wrap up the season. In the season finale four-set win against Rutgers, Tuman totaled 54 assists, seven digs, two kills and an ace. She nearly had a double-double in three sets against No. 14 Penn State with 22 assists, nine digs and a kill, ace and block. Tuman averaged 9.53 assists/set this season, ranking fifth in the Big Ten. Her 963 assists ranks 16th in the Buckeye record books among career assist leaders.
