COLUMBUS, Ohio – The No. 1 Ohio State women's hockey team takes the ice for a non-conference matchup against No. 6 St. Lawrence this weekend at the OSU Ice Rink. The Buckeyes (11-1-0, 10-0-0 WCHA) and Saints (12-3-0, 6-0-0 ECAC) faceoff at 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 24 and 3 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 25.

Ohio State continues its home stretch against No. 10 St. Cloud State Dec. 1-2 at the OSU Ice Rink. The Buckeyes and Huskies face off at 6 p.m. for game one and 3 p.m. for game two. Both games will be streamed on B1G+ (subscription required).

Buckeyes in a Nutshell
- Ohio State started its eight-game home stand with a sweep of then-ranked No. 1 Wisconsin last weekend at the OSU Ice Rink. The Buckeyes earned a 3-0 shutout of the Badgers in game one and won the second game in overtime, 2-1.
- Forward Jennifer Gardiner and goaltender Raygan Kirk earned WCHA weekly awards for their efforts against Wisconsin. Gardiner led the team with four points, including three goals and the first assist on the overtime game-winning goal. Kirk made 19 saves in game one to hand Wisconsin their first loss of the season and first shutout since February.
- This weekend's games are the Buckeyes' final out-of-conference games of the regular season. Ohio State is 1-1-0 against non-conference opponents this year after splitting the season-opening series at Colgate.
- The matchup against St. Lawrence also marks Ohio State's fourth top-10 opponent of the season and second in a row. The Buckeyes are 7-1-0 in those games.
- Gardiner leads the Buckeyes with 18 points and 11 assists this year. She is tied with Kiara Zanon for the team lead in goals (7). The Surrey, B.C. native is on an team-high eight-game point streak. In six of the eight games, she has recorded multiple points.
- Cayla Barnes leads the Buckeyes with 17 blocked shots on the year. She has now blocked 300 shots in her collegiate career. She stepped in front of two shots in last Saturday's win over Wisconsin to help the Buckeyes block a season-high 15 shots.
- Freshman Jocelyn Amos has emerged as the Buckeyes' top player on the faceoff, winning a team high 122 draws with a .589 win percentage. Her 122 wins rank seventh in the league.
- For the last 10 games, Ohio State has held its opponent to less than 30 shots on goal. In those 10 games, the Buckeyes have averaged over 44 shots on goal.
- Ohio State ranks among the top five programs nationally in assists (4th - 88), goals (5th - 84), power-play percentage (5th - .290), scoring margin (3rd - 2.83), scoring offense (3rd - 4.50), and team points (4th - 142).
- Following the team's sweep of Wisconsin, the Buckeyes were voted the top team in the country in both national polls. In the USCHO.com poll, Ohio State earned 18 of 19 first place votes and 298 votes overall. The Buckeyes also received 18 first place votes in the USA Hockey/The Rink Live poll, with 284 overall votes.
