
Three Under Par as Buckeyes Finish 6th at Cal Poly Invitational

FINAL RESULTS
COLUMBUS, Ohio – Three Ohio State men's golfers finished under-par as the Buckeyes finished sixth as a team at the Cal Poly Invitational on Tuesday at the Preserve Golf Club in Carmel, Calif.
This was the final event of the fall season for the Buckeyes who finished in the Top 6 in all three events and were a combined 66-under par.
Maxwell Moldovan led three Buckeyes under-par in the event as he carded rounds of 69-68-75 to finish tied for 15th at 4-under par. Moldovan extends his school-record to 44 career rounds in the 60s.
Adam Wallin carded three rounds at par or better, playing the final 36 holes in 3-under par to finish tied for 21st at 3-under par. Neal Shipley was tied for 28th at 1-under par after rounds of 68-71-76.
Jackson Chandler had the third-most pars in the field over the 54 holes, finishing with 38. He carded rounds of 76-73-72 to finish in a tie for 53rd. Patrick Schmucking and Tyler Sabo, who was playing as an individual this week, finished a shot back at 6-over par and tied for 57th. Sabo matched his season-high with five birdies in the final round on Tuesday.
The Buckeyes have finished the fall portion of the season and will be off as a team until the Southwestern Invitational on Jan. 29-31 at the North Ridge Country Club in Thousand Oaks, Calif.
