COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women's volleyball team (7-11, 4-5 B1G) travels to RV Indiana (15-7, 5-4 B1G) on Saturday night at 8 p.m. ET. The match will be broadcast live on B1G+.Â
- Ohio State enters the match with a 7-11 record this season and a 4-5 record in Big Ten play after falling on the road to No. 1 Wisconsin in straight sets (22-25, 15-25, 18-25) on Wednesday night.Â
- Senior Emily Londot continues to lead Ohio State's offense as she's second the conference in kills/set (4.67) and points/set (5.13), ranking in the top-11 in the country in both categories as of Monday. Freshman Mia Tuman ranks sixth in the Big Ten in assists/set (9.17), while senior Rylee Rader's .356 hitting percentage is good for 10th in the Big Ten.
- Freshman Kaitlyn Hoffman has excelled after stepping into the libero role and is now averaging 3.38 digs/set, while freshman Eloise Brandewie leads the Buckeye block with 64 total (0.96 blocks/set) after a career-best seven blocks in three-consecutive matches earlier this month (10/1, 10/6, 10/7).
- RV Indiana holds a 15-7 overall record and a 5-4 mark in Big Ten play this season. The Hoosiers fell to No. 19 Purdue in four sets (22-25, 22-25, 25-21, 13-25) on the road on Wednesday after beating the Boilermakers in four sets on Oct. 11 for IU's first ranked win of the season.
- Other Indiana Big Ten wins include Illinois, Iowa, Maryland and Michigan, while the Hoosiers have fallen to No. 1 Wisconsin, No. 2 Nebraska and then No. 14 Penn State.
- Camryn Haworth leads the Big Ten in aces/set (0.66, 50 total) and ranks third in assists/set (9.84). Ramsey Gary is second in the Big Ten in digs/set (4.26). IU boasts a balanced offense with six players averaging at least 2.0 kills/set.
- Ohio State leads 55-27 in the all-time series against Indiana and has the 19-18 edge when facing the Hoosiers in Bloomington.
- The teams split meetings last season with each team winning on the road. Ohio State won on Oct. 1, 2022 in four sets (25-15, 25-13, 23-25, 25-21), while Indiana edged out a five-set win on Nov. 20, 2022 (24-26, 25-17, 25-17, 20-25, 16-14).
