
Johnson a Midseason All-American

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Chloe Johnson, a senior attacker on the Ohio State women’s lacrosse team, has been named to the Inside Lacrosse/IL Women Midseason All-America Third Team.
The native of Derwood, Md., is eighth in the NCAA and second in the Big Ten with 8.25 draw controls per game. Led by Johnson, the Buckeyes are seventh in the country and first in the league in draw control percentage (.587).
She leads the Buckeyes with a program-record 99 draw controls this season and is currently in third place in Buckeye history with 184 career draw controls. She has five games with 10-plus draw controls so far this year, including a program single-game record tying 13 vs. Duquesne.
Johnson has 15 goals, four assists and 19 points this year, all career highs. She has six multi-goal outings this season, including back-to-back hat tricks, while starting all 12 games for the Buckeyes. She also has nine ground balls and five caused turnovers.
The Buckeyes, who defeated Louisville in overtime last night, 13-12, will return to Big Ten play with a 7:30 p.m. game on BTN at Michigan April 8.
