What They Said
Head Coach Jen Flynn Oldenburg: “[Tonight] shows out intent. We talk about taking care of every contact. I think it shows the focus that we’re having in practice that is translated onto the court, but I think it shows the leadership and experience that this team has, and we knew that coming into the season.”
Middle Adria Powell: “It’s exciting [having 12 kills]. I think our offense is really balanced in general. To be able to have a big part in that is exciting and it just makes us tougher against opponents. To keep working with Mac [Podraza] on spreading it out and then having a big role in that feels good.”
