COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s gymnastics team hosts New York Alliance on Saturday in the Buckeyes’ first home meet of the season at 7:30 p.m. ET. The meet will be streamed live on B1G+ (subscription required).
Fans may park for free but must let parking attendants know that they are there for the gymnastics meet.
- The Buckeyes were picked to finish fifth in the Big Ten this season, according to the conference’s coaches’ poll.
- Senior Jesse Tyndall and junior Justin Ah Chow were named Big Ten Gymnasts to Watch ahead of the 2022 season.
- Ohio State finished second among seven teams at the Windy City Invite with a team score of 387.70. The team’s highest event total came on the vault (69.200) as all five Buckeyes scored at least 13.300.
- Tyndall led the Buckeyes in Chicago with a career-high 14.550 on high bar to lead the competition and finished third overall on parallel bars (13.650).
- Andrew Brower set a career-high on pommel horse (13.650) to lead the Buckeyes.
- Kazuki Hayashi finished fourth in his first collegiate all-around competition (74.800).
- The New York Alliance roster includes men’s gymnasts from varying collegiate programs in New York and sends them to a variety of competitions.

HOME EVENT REMINDERS
Concessions: Beginning immediately (1/4/2022), concessions will be closed at all university-related athletic events at Ohio State. Fans will not be permitted to bring food/beverage into athletic facilities. As always, exceptions will be made for those with medical needs for single-serving items. For those needing water during the event, courtesy cups will be available at guest services locations – you will be able to fill them at water refill stations on the concourse. Bottled water will be sold from a grab-n-go location on each level of the arena (sections 131 and 231). Water may only be consumed on the concourse – no water will be permitted down into the seating areas. As always, exceptions will be made at the gates for those with medical needs for single-serving items.
Mask Wearing: The university and City of Columbus policies require wearing of masks indoors, regardless of vaccination status, for all faculty, staff and invitees. Masks are required to be worn at all times – guests will not be permitted to enter the facility without wearing a mask and must remain masked while inside at all times.
