On the potential of this offense: “It could be really good. There’s some play makers outside and it’ll be interesting to see if there’s a running game that can take off. If we can have balance and run the ball that “car” is going to be shiny and we’ll see where that goes. The worst thing you can do as an offense guy like Coach Day and myself, is to just keep coming up with new plays and new plays but you don’t get good any thing where you lay your hat. I think we come out of this week and next week and we get a feel of this line, running backs and TE’s we can find where we’ll hang our hat.” – Coach Kevin Wilson
On the offense: “What we’re trying to go for is that anyone can do anything. We can’t really hone into one guy, because if you pay too much attention to one, another one is going to step up. We’re trying to be as balanced as we can, and have a lot of weapons. The competition within ourselves is making us more balanced and spread out.” – Jeremy Ruckert
On his transition to tight end: “It’s very easy to think about the small picture. If I was here thinking about the small picture I would’ve thought, ‘Why in the world would I be a tight end, and play tight end at The Ohio State University?’ This move to TE was more of a big picture scheme. I think that’s the problem, everyone wants some thing right now. That’s not reality of it and that’s not how I expect it to go.” – Gee Scott, Jr.
