Tyndall Earns All-America Recognition

MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – Junior Jesse Tyndall capped off the 2021 season by earning All-America honors with his all-around score at the finals of the NCAA Championships on Saturday at Maturi Pavilion.
Tyndall posted an 80.965 in the all-around competition, his third-highest total this season, to finish eighth. His performance secured the first All-America laurel of his career. Tyndall competed on every event and placed 14th on floor (14.400), parallel bars (13.666) and high bar (13.433).
Ohio State had at least two gymnasts competing on every apparatus during the final. Luke Smigliani scored a 13.300 on pommel horse to come in 11th while Josh Seltzer was 13th on rings (13.766). Kazuki Hayashi (floor – 14.066), Dexter Roettker (vault – 14.266), Donovan Hewitt (vault – 14.100), Sean Neighbarger (parallel bars – 13.433), Tyler Rockwood (parallel bars – 12.866) and Domenic Sciulli (high bar – 11.266) also took part in the championships.
