Nelson Named B1G Freshman of the Week

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Rookie Kameron Nelson earned his first weekly honor as a Buckeye after being named Big Ten Freshman of the Week, the conference announced Monday.
Nelson helped No. 6 Ohio State to a double-digit win over No. 8 Iowa, 406.100-395.750, on Saturday. The Jackson, Tenn., native tied for second place on floor with a career-best 14.250. His mark contributed to the Buckeyes scoring a 70.700 on the event, a season high.
Ohio State will compete against No. 2 Michigan in a virtual meet on Wednesday at 4:30 p.m.
