PISCATAWAY, N.J. – The No. 19 Ohio State women’s volleyball team remains undefeated at 10-0 on the year after a straight-set win (25-21, 25-19, 25-19) at Rutgers on Friday in College Avenue Gym.
The Buckeyes topped the Scarlet Knights (2-9) in every category and had a season-high .377 attacking percentage (55-12-114).
Emily Londot led all hitters with 16 kills, followed by Vanja Bukilic with 10 kills. Rylee Rader tallied 10 kills while hitting a season-best .667 with no errors on 15 attempts. Gabby Gonzales chipped in nine kills and 11 digs.
Mac Podraza totaled 43 assists, seven digs and four kills while Kylie Murr added 11 digs and two aces. Lauren Witte paced the Buckeyes at the net with five blocks. Londot, Bukilic, Rader and Podraza had three stuffs each.
SET 1: The teams exchanged points until the Buckeyes went up 20-15 after a 4-0 run. Rutgers called a timeout to regroup and pulled within a pair but Londot and Gonzales laid down the final kills for a 25-21 win.
SET 2: Rutgers made up the early difference for a slight 10-9 edge. The teams traded the next 15 points before the Buckeyes took a 21-17 lead. Ohio State scored the last four points to take the set, 25-19.
SET 3: The Buckeyes clicked on all cylinders as a 7-0 sprint pushed the advantage to 19-10. Rutgers tried to stick around with a scoring run of its own but fell 25-19.

The Buckeyes and Scarlet Knights meet again at 5 p.m. Saturday.
