Bokker Signs Eight to National Letters of Intent

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Amy Bokker, head coach of the Ohio State women’s lacrosse program, today announced the signing on eight student-athletes who will continue their academic and athletic careers as the members of the women’s lacrosse program.
The newest Buckeyes are: Brooke Papenfuss (Palm Beach Gardens, Fla.), Stella Wineman (San Diego, Calif.), Maddie Barhorst (Fort Mill, S.C.), Margaret Lawler (Moorestown, N.J.), Brynn Ammerman (West Chester, Pa.), Annie Hargraves (Columbus, Ohio), Katie Chisholm (West Chester, Pa.), and Mackenzie Fitzgerald (Vienna, Va.).
“We are very excited for the future of Buckeye Women’s Lacrosse and to add these decorated student-athletes from all over the country to our program,” said Bokker. “This group gives us dynamic energy and athleticism at each position. I have been impressed with their leadership among their high school and club programs. The families that are joining our team are committed to our core values and enthusiastic about the goals our program has in place. We can’t wait to welcome this group to Buckeye Nation!”

- First team All-Palm Beach County
- Member of the US Lacrosse South National Team
- Also played volleyball and basketball

- Two-time Under Armor All-American
- Led her team to the City Western League title in 2018
- Member of the WPLL Futures California team
- Also played varsity field hockey at La Jolla High School

- Has helped Moorestown High School win two NJSIAA state championships
- Is a team captain
- Named the top returning player at Moorestown High School by U.S. Lacrosse Magazine in March of 2020
- 2019 and 2020 Under Armour New Jersey team
- Her sister, Delaney, is a member of Ohio State’s field hockey team
