Buckeyes Take on NC State at Home Opener Jan. 11

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State women’s gymnastics team begins the 2020 campaign with a dual meet against the NC State Wolfpack on Saturday, Jan. 11 for the first time in the new Covelli Center. The meet is set to start at 4 p.m. ET with doors opening a hour prior. All adults 5’1? or shorter will be granted free admission at the doors.

HISTORY WITH THE WOLFPACK
Ohio State holds a 6-4 advantage in meetings with NC State, as Saturday marks the 11th meeting between the Buckeyes and the Wolfpack. The two teams met last season for a dual meet in Raleigh, N.C. that led to a win for OSU.

The Scarlet & Gray has 13 letterwinners off the 2019 NCAA Regional squad returning and welcomes six newcomers to the program. Included in the 13 is Big Ten Individual champion Olivia Aepli.
IN THE BIG TEN
The Buckeyes were voted fourth in the 2020 Big Ten Preseason Coaches’ Poll, the conference announced on Dec. 12. Michigan was picked first in the poll, followed by Minnesota and Nebraska. With OSU in fourth, Iowa rounds out the Top Five conference squads. Additionally, sophomore Colby Miller and junior Jenna Swartzentruber were named gymnasts to watch.

Season tickets, on sale now, include a ticket to each of the four home meets and are $40 for adults. Single-meet tickets are also on sale at $12 for adults, $8 for students, and $8 for youth and seniors. Youth under the age of 2 are free.
