Lauren Witte Claims Big Ten Distinguished Scholar Honor

COLUMBUS, Ohio – For the first time in her career, Lauren Witte was named a Big Ten Distinguished Scholar, the conference announced Tuesday.
In order to be eligible, a student-athlete must be in at least their second year on campus and earn a 3.7 or better grade-point average during the 2018-19 academic year.
The health sciences major is one of 16 Ohio State student-athletes to achieve a perfect 4.0 GPA. Witte also garnered Academic All-Big Ten honors back in December.
