COLUMBUS, Ohio – Earlier this month, the Ohio State Buckeyes announced their schedule for the upcoming 2019-2020 season. Three home meets this year will be featured in Ohio State’s new Covelli Arena, marking the inaugural season for the venue.
The season opener will be held on January 18th against Oklahoma and Arizona State University. The other two home meets will be held on February 1st against Michigan and February 29th against the Naval Academy.
The Buckeyes will travel to Arizona, Penn State, Minnesota, and Illinois, along with participating in the Arnold Challenge against Iowa and Northern Illinois this season.
Sean Neighbarger on the season: “I am incredibly excited for this season! The chemistry we have within this team is unmatched, which sets us apart. The talent has always been there but when you have a team of brothers, everything changes. I am looking forward to what we put together and hope to see a season of growth for this team. We want a lot, and we show that every practice through the work ethic we’ve cultivated as a team.”
The Buckeyes will open up their season on Friday, November 22 at 6:00 pm at the Steelwood Training Facility for the annual Scarlet-and-Gray Intrasquad.
All home meets will be free of charge.
