Football (11-1, 8-1 Big Ten) | TTUN Recap | Big Ten Championship Preview
- The Buckeyes crushed TTUN, 62-39, in The Game on Saturday.
- Dwayne Haskins finished with six touchdowns and 396 passing yards, helping him break two Big Ten single season records. His 42 touchdowns this season eclipse the previous record of 39, set by Drew Brees, and Dwayne’s 4,081 yards top the 3,985 yards tallied by Curtis Painter in a single season. Haskins’ performance led to a conference-record sixth Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week
- Parris Campbell caught two TD passes, pushing his team leading total to 11 on the year.
Men’s Basketball (6-0) | Samford Recap | Cleveland State Recap
- The men’s basketball team continued its hot start to the season, moving to 6-0 with wins over Samford and Cleveland State last week.
- Kaleb Wesson led all scorers in OSU’s 68-50 win over Samford on Tuesday with 19 points. Keyshawn Woods tallied 14 points as well.
- The Buckeyes took to the court in St. John Arena on Friday, beating Cleveland State 89-62.
- Four Buckeyes cracked double digits, once again led by Wesson and his 19 points. C.J. Jackson scored 17 points, while Andre Wesson tallied 11 and Luther Muhammad scored 10.
Men’s Ice Hockey (9-4-1, 4-2 Big Ten) | Penn State Recap
- The men’s hockey team rebounded from a loss on Friday to get a 5-2 win over No. 6 Penn State on Saturday.
- Five Buckeyes got in on the scoring, with Mason Jobst, Ronnie Hein, Dakota Joshua, Sasha Larocque and Brendon Kearney all tallying goals.
- With his goal in the first period, Mason Jobst became the all-time points leader in Big Ten games only. He has 41 goals (a conference record), 46 assists and 87 points in his 69th career B1G game.
