COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State men’s golf team has been selected to continue postseason play at the NCAA Regional in Stanford, Calif., on May 15-17. Ohio State is slotted as the No. 10 seed of the 13-team field with the top-5 squads and best individual from a non-qualifying team advancing to the NCAA Championships May 26-31 at Rich Harvest Farms in Sugar Grove, Ill.
This marks the 48th all-time NCAA postseason appearance for the Buckeyes, including national championships in 1945 and 1979. Ohio State will be seeking advancement into its 32nd NCAA Championships all-time. Stanford is the No. 4 overall nationally and will serve as host and top seed at the regional that features 10 of the 14 schools inside the top-60 nationally.
The Buckeyes are coming off a third place showing at last weekend’s Big Ten Tournament which was the team’s best finish at the event since 2004.
