ATHENS, Ohio – The Ohio State University women’s volleyball team traveled to Ohio University for an exhibition spring match and came home with a 3-1 victory in hand (26-24, 25-21, 21-25, 25-17). Nine different Buckeyes saw action in the win over the Bobcats.
A quartet of Buckeyes each recorded double-digit digs, paced by Taylor Hughes’ 16. Luisa Schirmer dug 11 balls while Kalisha Goree and Ashley Wenz each picked up 10 digs. Schirmer made it a double-double by adding a team-high 18 kills on her .342 attacking efficiency.
St. John Arena plays host to another exhibition match on Thursday (Apr. 20) at 7:30 p.m., concluding the 2017 spring competition slate. Admission is free for the event.
