
No. 4 Buckeyes Ready for Matchup With Penn State

Columbus, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s gymnastics will head to University Park, Pa., on Saturday to face off against No. 6 Penn State at 4 p.m. inside of Rec Hall.

The Buckeyes enter the weekend with a record 6-1 (4-1 Big Ten) and currently boast the fourth-best scoring average in the nation (412.600). Penn State is one spot behind Ohio State with an average of 409.800. Ohio State leads the all-time series with Penn State with a 73-53 advantage.

Ohio State enters the week ranked No. 4 in the College Gymnastics Association (CGA) National Rankings.
OSU owns the No. 4 average all-around score in the nation so far this season, along with a No. 2 ranking on pommel horse with an average score of 69.417.

Big Ten Accolades
Through four weeks of the season, Ohio State has had an athlete named B1G Gymnast of the Week in three of them. Jake Martin (twice) and Jake Dastrup have collected the three honors; both athletes will make the trip this weekend.
