Emeric Quade Named CoSIDA Academic All-District – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Senior captain Emeric Quade of the Ohio State men’s gymnastics team was named to the District 5 Academic All-District Men’s At-Large Team Thursday by the College Sports Information Directors of America (CoSIDA).
Quade, a native of Tucson, Ariz., graduated from Ohio State May 7 with a 3.89 GPA in biochemistry. A 2016 All-American on floor exercise, Quade was a three-year letter winner for the Buckeyes, excelling on floor and vault. In the classroom, Quade was a three-time Academic All-Big Ten selection, two-time CGA All-American Scholar-Athlete, four-time Ohio State Scholar-Athlete and a 2015 Big Ten Distinguished Scholar.
Quade is now eligible for CoSIDA Academic All-America honors, determined by a vote of sports information directors nationwide. Results will be announced Thursday, June 9.
