Clark Engle Tabbed an All-Midwest Region Player – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Clark Engle, a sophomore on the Ohio State men’s golf team, was selected by the Golf Coaches Association of American to the Division-I PING All-Midwest Regional Team. The Springfield, Ohio native is one of 155 players across six regions – Northeast, East, Southeast, Midwest, Central and West – to earn all-region honors for 2015.
Engle paced the Buckeyes with a 72.32 stroke average while playing all 34 rounds this season. He placed inside the top-5 in forty-five percent of his 2014-15 tournaments, including an individual championship at the Intercollegiate at The Grove (Oct. 26-28) to lead Ohio State to the team title. He also owns six top-10’s and seven top-25’s in the 11 events entered. The Second Team All-Big Ten member fired 13 rounds under par with a low of 66 and wrapped up his sophomore campaign just 35 strokes over par for the entire season.
