Clark Engle Earns All-Big Ten Accolades – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Clark Engle was named to the All-Big Ten Second Team on Tuesday (Apr. 28), announced by the conference office. The sophomore from Springfield, Ohio, paces the Buckeyes with a 72.65 stroke average while playing all 31 rounds this season.
Engle has placed inside the top-5 in forty percent of his 2014-15 tournaments, including an individual championship at the Intercollegiate at The Grove (Oct. 26-28) to lead Ohio State to the team title. He also owns five top-10’s and six top-25’s in 10 tournaments played.
Golfweek ranked Engle as high as No. 71 in the country earlier in the year, making the largest jump in the nation from the end of the 2013-14 season up until the start of this Spring semester. He has fired scores under par in 11 of 31 rounds and is just plus-38 overall for the year.
In addition, Boo Timko was selected for the Big Ten Sportsmanship Award.
