GAME/SERIES
• Ohio State leads the all-time series vs. Marquette, 7-4. The Buckeyes are 3-1 in games played in Columbus. The last time Marquette traveled to Columbus, the Golden Eagles defeated the Buckeyes 82-70 in St. John Arena on Nov. 30, 1994.
• A ranked Ohio State team is 2-0 vs. Marquette. The matchup Tuesday was the first time a ranked Ohio State team has faced Marquette since the Buckeyes, ranked No. 10, downed the No. 2-ranked Golden Eagles 60-59 March 18, 1971 in the Mideast Regional Semifinals of the 1971 NCAA Tournament.
• The Buckeyes are 64-29 vs. current Big East members.
• Buckeye Zach Farmer was recognized during halftime. Farmer was a freshman pitcher on the Ohio State baseball team last May when he was diagnosed with acute myeloid leukemia. After undergoing chemotherapy at the James Cancer Hospital, Zach was able to find a bone marrow match through the bone marrow registry and had his transplant in August. He is now approaching five months cancer free and plans to return to classes and play for the Buckeyes in spring 2016.

• Four players scored in double figures for the Buckeyes: Kam Williams (15), Amir Williams (12), Sam Thompson (10) and Marc Loving (10).
• Shot 65.3 percent (32-49) from the floor vs. the Golden Eagles, posting back-to-back games with above 60+ percent shooting from the floor after shooting after shooting 61.7% vs. Massachusetts-Lowell Nov. 14 in home opener. The last time the Buckeyes recorded back-to-back games with 60 percent shooting was at Indiana, a 93-81 Buckeye road win, and vs. Purdue, an overtime win at home on Jan. 31, 2009 and Feb. 3, 2009, respectively.
• Knocked down 70.4 percent of shots in the second half on 19 of 27 shooting. The last time Ohio State shot 70+ percent in a half was vs. North Florida on Nov. 29, 2013.
• Of the 10 Buckeyes who saw action tonight, all scored and saw 10 minutes or more. This is second-time this season 10 players have scored and recorded 10+ minutes on the floor.
• Scored a season high 42 points in the paint.
• Ohio State is 111-6 all-time vs. non-conference opponents at Value City Arena and is 95-1 in the last 96 games. The last loss was Dec. 27, 2008 vs. West Virginia.

Thad Matta
• Matta is 277-83 during his career at Ohio State and 378-114 overall as a head coach.
• The Buckeyes are 95-1 vs. unranked non-conference opponents under Matta. This .990 winning percentage at home vs. unranked non-conference opponents since 2004-05 is second in the nation behind Duke (77-0).
• Ohio State is 51-6 under Matta in the month of November.
• With Matta at the helm, Ohio State is 228-28 vs. unranked opponents.
Shannon Scott
• Set new career high with 14 assists. The mark ties him for No. 2 all-time in single game assists in Ohio State program history with Curtis Wilson who recorded 14 assists at Purdue Jan. 7, 1988 and sets a Value City Arena record.
• Collected two steals. He is 8th on Ohio State’s all-time steals list with 156. He needs 44 this season to become third Buckeye all time to reach 200 for career.
• The game was Scott’s fourth game with 10 or more assists.
• Scored eight points, passing the 500-point milestone as a Buckeye.
Kam Williams
• Set a new career high with 15 points, connecting on 6 of 8 from the field and 3 of 4 from beyond the arc.
Amir Williams
• Set career high with three steals.
• Scored season-high 14 points.
Sam Thompson
• Scored in double figures for the second-straight game, collecting 10 points.
• Added six rebounds and three assists.
