Senior
New Albany, Ohio
Peter Kobelt is without question the leader of the 2013-14 Ohio State men’s tennis team as the only senior and returning All-American on the Buckeye roster. Kobelt, a native of New Albany, Ohio, recently helped team USA to a gold medal at the Master’U BNP Paribas this past December in Aix-en-Provence, France, and will look to continue his momentum into the collegiate season beginning Wednesday as the Scarlet and Gray welcomes Butler and Xavier at the Varsity Tennis Center. Kobelt and the Buckeyes will then host Denver, MTSU and Louisville Saturday and Sunday as part of the ITA Kickoff Weekend with a spot in the 2014 ITA National Indoor Championships up for grabs.
