No. 25 Buckeyes Finish 12th at Notre Dame – Ohio State Buckeyes

NOTRE DAME, Ind. – Battling poor weather, a wet course and talented competition, the 25th-ranked Ohio State men’s cross country team finished 12th Friday afternoon at the 8k Notre Dame Invitational.
With a team score of 326, the Buckeyes finished well behind first place and 14th-ranked BYU (46 points). No. 10 Florida State compiled 93 points for runner-up honors, followed by No. 12 Princeton (138 points) and third-ranked Stanford (202).
Junior Donny Roys led the Buckeye effort at the soggy Notre Dame Golf Course, turning in a 24th-place time of 24:44. Senior Taylor Williams was the No. 2 runner for the Scarlet and Gray, crossing the finish line in a 62nd-place time of 25:07, one second ahead of teammate Chris Fallon (63rd). Freshman Michael Brajdic (81st, 25:17) and Adam Green (96th, 25:28) completed the Buckeye scoring.
