Buckeyes Host Scarlet & Gray Scrimmage Sunday at 1 P.M. – Ohio State Buckeyes

Columbus, Ohio – The women’s volleyball team will play an intersquad match at 1 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 21 in St. John Arena. Admission is free. The Scarlet & Gray match is the final warm-up before the season begins later in the week.
BUCKEYES RANKED 2OTH IN THE VOLLEYBALL MAGAZINE PRESEASON POLL
Volleyball Magazine has released its Top 20 poll with Ohio State ranked 20th. The Buckeyes are one of six Big Ten schools ranked in the Top 20. Ohio State ended the 2010 season ranked 15th in the final poll after advancing to the NCAA Dayton regional semifinal. OSU defeated 13th-ranked Dayton, on its home court, to reach the regional.
OSU OPENS 2011 SEASON WITH VALPARAISO
The Buckeyes will open the 2011 season at the West Virginia Mountaineer Invitational at 10:30 a.m., Friday, Aug. 25 against Valparaiso in Morgantown. The Buckeyes continue on the road with tournaments at Hawaii and Toledo before returning home to host the Sports Imports Classic, Sept. 16-17.
