On tonight’s match and bouncing back from a tough loss
“No one is going to go undefeated in this conference and tonight was a good response. Last night we talked about how we need to respond and change a lot of things and I think we did that. Michigan State is a good team and we got them rattled a little bit and we kept pressure on them which is exactly what we want to do. I’m happy for them (the team). It was a good night overall and it was what I thought was a good response to what was one of our tougher nights last night.”
On playing consistently and getting better
“We need players to be consistent. We need them to be consistent emotionally and in terms of their output and everything they’re doing. School has started and the reality of the quarter is starting to hit and we’ve got to be tough. We have to work hard, roll up our sleeves and get better every day in practice. We’ve got a lot to work on in practice. We needed tonight. Tonight was a big win for us and we needed it. Now we go get ready to get on the road again.”
