WLAX: Buckeyes Lose In ALC Semis – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio Ohio State women’s lacrosse lost to host Penn State, 11-7, in the semifinals of the American Lacrosse Conference tournament Friday evening.
Penn State jumped out to a 7-0 lead and was ahead 8-2 at the half. Alayna Markwordt and Kelly Haggerty each scored two goals for the Buckeyes. Gabby Capuzzi, Maghan Beaudrault and Kirsten Donahue scored single goals for OSU.
The Buckeyes are 11-6. Penn State will face top-seeded Northwestern in Saturday’s ALC championship match.
