New Scoreboard and Ribbon Board Unveiled at Value City Arena – Ohio State Buckeyes

New state-of-the-art technology helps celebrate 10th season if Value City Arena at Jerome Schottenstein Center
(Columbus) In anticipation of the upcoming 2008-2009 basketball and hockey seasons, the Schottenstein Center in collaboration with the Ohio State Department of Athletics forged a plan that would enhance the fan’s game-day experience.
As a result, the Schottenstein Center is proud to announce the installation a state-of-the-art center-hung scoreboard and 360-degree fascia board.
Some highlights of the new technology:
- On the scoreboard, high resolution video is delivered through 341 trillion colors featured on four 16-feet by 9-feet 6mm screens, eight 6×10 10mm matrix displays and two 16.5mm “rings” encircling the middle and bottom.
- The fascia board (970 linear feet of 20mm LED) encircles the bowl at the Huntington Club Level.
