Senior defenseman Tessa Bonhomme, captain of the 2007-08 Ohio State women’s hockey team, answered questioned posed to her from Hockey Canada. Bonhomme is attending Canada’s Women’s National Team Fall Festival, held Aug. 31-Sept. 9 in Prince George, British Columbia. She has collected two assists in five games with Team White.
A three-time member of the Canadian Under-22 team, Bonhomme participated in the country’s Centralization Program in 2005-06 in preparation for the 2006 Winter Olympics. While she missed being named to the roster as one of the last two athletes cut from the team, Bonhomme was named to the Canadian National Team for 2006-07, helping the nation to gold medals at both the 2006 Four Nations Cup and 2007 Wolrd Women’s Championships.
