Robert Gary, in his 11th season as Ohio State cross country head coach, reintroduced a training trip to his team this season, trekking nearly 500 miles to Blowing Rock, N.C., located in the Appalachian Mountains.
The team trained for 10 days in the rolling Carolina hills and bonded as a team. The results of the training venture were immediate as the Buckeyes swept the Top 3 spots en route to a team title at the 2007 Tennessee Twilight Invitational Sept. 14.
