Head Coach Judy Bunting
Coach Bunting has been leading the Ohio State Cheerleading Program since beginning in August, 1987, and has continued to develop the program in both competitions and crowd participation. The Cheerleading Program members act as excellent ambassadors for the Department of Athletics and The Ohio State University. For 17 of the last 20 years, the Ohio State Cheerleaders have participated in the UCA National Cheerleading Competition, winning the Competition in 1993, and placing third in 1997. Coach Bunting herself cheered at Ohio State from 1971-1974, and received her degrees in Mathematics and Spanish Education. Coach Bunting has also taught at Upper Arlington (OH) High School for six years. Coach Bunting is a member of the American Association of Cheerleading Coaches and Advisors (AACCA).
