What is the Brutus Holiday Photos?
Brutus Holiday Photos is a new, fun, and exciting event that will allow you and your family to get an early taste of the Holiday Spirit! You and your family will have the opportunity to get your Holiday pictures taken with Brutus Buckeye in Ohio Stadium!
How much does it cost?
Brutus Holiday Photos is $100 and includes three (3) poses per session. A professional photographer will be onsite taking pictures, and you will receive high-resolution digital files (jpeg) of your poses with Brutus via the email address provided at registration. Photographer and digital files are included in the cost.
Where will the photos take place?
Brutus Holiday Photos will be held in the iconic Ohio Stadium inside the University Suite overlooking the football field.

Is there parking available?
Yes. Parking will be available in the Stadium Lots. You will need to pay for parking via the campus parc app on your mobile device.
What should I wear?
There is no specific recommended outfit, but Brutus will be decked out in the Holiday Spirit. The backdrop will have Scarlet, Silver, and White themed decorations.
What can I bring?
Feel free to bring any props you would like in your picture, but, again, please remember that time is limited so have them ready before it is your turn! For the safety of your pet and other participants, pets are not permitted.
May I bring my service Animal to the event?
Service animals are welcome. Our policy, consistent with the ADA's revised guidelines, defines "service animal" as limited to a dog that is individually trained to do work or perform tasks for an individual with a disability. The task(s) performed by the dog must be directly related to the individual's disability. Service animals must be harnessed, leashed or tethered, unless these devices interfere with the service animal's work or the individual's disability prevents him or her from using these devices. Individuals who cannot use such devices must maintain control of the animal through voice, signal, or other effective methods.
How and when will I receive my pictures?
Images for each participant/group will be sent to the email provided during registration within (5) business days of the event. The photos will be high-resolution digital files (jpeg) that you may share or get printed wherever you choose.
What kind of photo poses can we do?
You can do all sorts of poses with Brutus while you are there. We recommend one nice traditional pose first, and then try to mix it up. Maybe a silly face or the kids standing up while Brutus sits down. Brutus loves to be creative and if it’s appropriate and in good taste the sky is the limit. Please note that Brutus is unable to hold or take pictures with any external signs or with anything that would promote a business, product, service, or cause.
Registration and Timeslots FAQ'S
How do I register for Brutus Holiday Photos?
Registration starts Tuesday, 11/12/24 and closes Monday, 12/2/2024, at 5:00 PM EST or when time slots sell out.
How many time slots can I register for?
We ask that you only purchase one time slot per household/address (i.e. one per household/family residing together). Please use your permanent residential address during the registration process. Do not use a student/temporary address, second home, or business address.
If I have two homes, may I register and purchase at each address?
No, you may only register from one address. We want to make sure we are able to accommodate as many members of Buckeye Nation as possible to participate.
Can I register for someone else?
No, you may not register for timeslots on behalf of a friend or relative, as a gift, or to sell. By completing the transaction, you certify that the time slot is for your personal use. Photo identification will be required upon arrival.
What if I pay for a timeslot but no longer want it?
- Unfortunately, no refunds, rain checks, exchanges, or replacements will be made once payment has been received and the spot is confirmed.
- You can notify us at sharp.255@osu.edu to let us know you will no longer be able to attend the event. We will accept your $100 for the photo session as a non-tax-deductible donation to the Ohio State Spirit Program.
Is there a Waitlist?
Yes, if we sell all time slots out but have a cancellation we will reach out to you and offer available slots to you for purchase.
