We are excited to announce season 3 of the Buckeye Youth Spirit Club which will be bigger and better than ever!
The Buckeye Youth Spirit Club is designed to give its members the opportunity to perform at major sporting events at The Ohio State University, develop relationships with Ohio State Cheerleaders & Dance Team Members, and have exclusive exposure to Brutus Buckeye! NEW THIS YEAR, we are excited to announce that members of the club will receive VIP benefits to the following events:
- Free admission to the 2nd annual Brutus Boo Bash in October
- Priority registration to the 2nd annual Brutus Holiday Photos event in Ohio Stadium- This event WILL SELL OUT!!!
- Priority registration to our 1st ever Brutus Valentine's Day Brunch event
The Buckeye Youth Spirit Club is now open to all children currently in Grades K-6 for the 2025-2026 academic year. The club operates on a membership-based system. Participants first register and join the Buckeye Youth Spirit Club to become an official member!
This year's participants will be split into two groups.
- Scarlet- K-2nd Graders
- Gray- 3rd-6th Graders
Membership for the Buckeye Youth Spirit Club includes:
- Buckeye Youth Spirit Club T-Shirt for Performances
- 1 Pair of Poms for Performances
- Opportunity for an exclusive portrait with Brutus Buckeye
- Priority to Register for specific Youth Spirit Performances opportunities
- Invitation to Buckeye Youth Spirit Club Kickoff Event
Official members of The Buckeye Youth Spirit Club will have the opportunity to participate in a pre-performance clinic, and perform at various athletic events throughout the year.
Exact dates and times for each event will be released on an ongoing basis, closer to each individual event. Members do not need to participate in all events, but they do have priority to register for each performance that works for their schedule. Registration for each athletic event performance will include clinic instruction, opportunity to learn from The Ohio State Cheer & Dance Teams, and three tickets to the event (one for the performer and two guests).
NOTE - The Buckeye Youth Spirit Club Membership Fee is inclusive of the elements listed above. There is an additional fee for each performance and clinic that your participant chooses to attend.

ENROLLMENT
The membership fee for the Buckeye Youth Spirit Club is $90 per camper. This membership fee will include a t-shirt, pair of poms, photo opportunity with Brutus Buckeye, and priority to register for Youth Spirit Performances and events. This club is open to any and all participants interested in performing in Grades K-6. There are a maximum number of Youth Spirit Club Members, so register early! While all Youth Spirit Club Members will have first priority to register for the youth spirit performance, there are capacity limitations for each individual event. Registering for the Buckeye Youth Spirit Club does not confirm your participation in any of the performance opportunities.
Full payment is required at the time of registration. You may register online by visiting OhioStateBuckeyes.com/camps-and-clinics. A 3% processing fee will be added to all online registrations.
FAQ'S
How many performance opportunities will be available for the Scarlet & Gray groups?
- Each group will have an opportunity to participate in up to three athletic events throughout the season
Will both Scarlet & Gray groups participate in the same athletic events?
- Not necessarily. Although there may be some athletic events in which both could particpate, the specific performance will be dependent on the athletic teams schedules and capacities available for each athletic event.
I have two children- one is in Scarlet and the other is in Gray, but I want them to be in the same group… Can they be?
- No they can't. These groups are separated by grade levels and the content taught will be reflective of that.
If I would like to purchase more tickets in addition to the 3 complimentary ones included in an event I register for, am I able to do that?
- Yes. An exclusive link to claim your complimentary tickets will be provided to you prior to the athletic event you are registered to perform at. That link includes detailed instructions to claim your tickets as well as the ability to purchase more if needed.
REQUIRED FORMS FOR PARTICIPATION
The Parent Consent, Waiver & Release Form AND the Concussion Information Form are REQUIRED for all participants. These forms must be completed during online registrations. Campers will not be permitted to participate without these forms.
CONFIRMATION
Upon processing of each registration, a confirmation notice will be sent by email.
REFUNDS
There will be no refunds issued for the Buckeye Youth Spirit Club Membership Fee.
