COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s golf team is tied for fourth place at the Big Ten Championships with 18 holes to be played. The Buckeyes shot rounds of 295-306-301 (902) over the first 54 holes at the OSU Golf Club Scarlet Course (par 71, 7,444) in Columbus, Ohio.

Michigan State leads the tournament by six shots over Purdue with a score of 889 (299-292-296). Pariya Junhasavasdikul (Purdue) is the individual leader after shooting rounds of 69-72-73 for a score of 1-over 214.

Ohio State senior David Vallina (Burgettstown, Pa./Burgettstown) leads the Buckeyes with a 6-over par 219 (70-74-75) and is in third place.

Final round competition begins at 8 a.m. Sunday.
