Women’s Lacrosse ranked in a tie for 17th in the IWLCA Poll – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State (9-5 overall, 1-2 American Lacrosse Conference) women’s lacrosse team has been ranked in a tie for 17th in the Intercollegiate Women’s Lacrosse Coaches Association weekly poll. This is Ohio State’s first appearance in the poll since mid-April of 2005 when they were ranked 19th. The Buckeyes are tied with Denver (14-2) with 54 points. Ohio State is coming off two road victories last week. OSU defeated then-eighth-ranked Penn State, 9-8, with a last second goal by Jessica Patane (Jr., Farmingdale, N.Y.). The Buckeyes then defeated Bucknell, 17-4.
Ohio State closes out the regular season this Friday when they play at top-ranked Northwestern (13-1, 3-0) at 5 p.m. ET.
