Sean Regan aims to earn a spot on the Junior Pan American Games team
COLUMBUS, Ohio Two months after securing a spot on his first-career Junior U.S. National team, Ohio State freshman gymnast Sean Regan heads back out West to the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs, Colo., to contend for a position on the Junior Pan American squad. The U.S. National team will hold a training camp Mon.-Tues. in preparation for a competition vs. Germany’s junior national team held Wed.-Thurs.
From the 2007-08 junior team, a squad will be selected based on their performance for the Junior Pan American Games held Nov. 20-25 in Guatemala.
In August, Regan made his first national team at the 2007 VISA Championships in San Jose, Calif., after finishing 18th in the all-around at the senior division qualifier.
