Tenenbaum Named CRCA Central Region Assistant Rowing Coach of the Year – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – Ohio State assistant rowing coach Robbie Tenenbaum was named the 2006 CRCA Central Region Assistant Coach of the Year, the Collegiate Rowing Coaches Association announced Thursday. It is the second-consecutive year Tenenbaum has earned the award.
Tenenbaum is in his eighth season as an assistant coach with the Buckeyes. He primarily works with the second varsity eight boat, which concluded the 2006 season by tying its best NCAA finish ever with fourth in the Grand Final. The boat won the Grand Final at the Central Region and Big Ten championships and finished the season with an overall record of 34-6.
The award is based on several criteria including outstanding success during the current season, demonstrating great team improvement from prior season, fulfilling the team’s potential and demonstrating a high level of professionalism and integrity as a coach.
