Brown To Be Inducted Into Ohio Golf Hall of Fame – Ohio State Buckeyes

Ohio State men’s golf coach Jim Brown will be inducted by the Ohio Golf Hall of Fame on Aug. 7 at Plum Brook Golf Club in Sandusky.
Brown has been OSU coach for 33 years, during which the Buckeyes won the NCAA championship in 1979, qualified for the NCAA tournament 30 times, won the Big Ten championship 17 times and has been Big Ten runner-up an additional eight times.
The Ohio Golf Hall of Fame will be the fifth hall of fame to induct the Buckeye coach. Brown is currently a member of the Martins Ferry High School, The Ohio State University Athletic, the Golf Coaches Association of America and the Ohio High School Athletic Association halls of fame.
