COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s golf team is tenth of 11 teams at the Big Ten Championships following the first two rounds. The Buckeyes recorded a total of 611 (302+309) at the par 71, 7,168-yard Conway Farms Golf Club in Lake Forest, Ill., Friday. Northwestern leads the event even-par at 568 (282+286). Northwestern is the host school for this event.
Ohio State’s Dan Rush (Fr., Cleveland, Ohio./St.Ignatius) finished the first two rounds leading the Buckeyes at 7 over-par and tied for 27th individually. Colin Biles (Jr., Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington) was just one stroke behind Rush placing 31st individually.
Biles finished with one of his best rounds scoring 1-under-par (70) and finishing the day scoring 150 at 8-over-par.
Ryan Brehm of Michigan State is leading after 36 holes with a total of 136.
The last two rounds of the Big Ten Championships will be contested with one round on Saturday and one on Sunday.
