Men’s Golf Team in 11th place after 36 holes in Schenkel Invitational – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio — The Ohio State men’s golf team is tied for 11th place after 36 holes at the Schenkel Invitational, held at Forest Heights Country Club in Statesboro, Ga. The Buckeyes fired rounds of 302+285=587 Saturday. The event will conclude Sunday with 18 holes.

Ohio State junior Colin Biles (Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington) is tied for 10th place after shooting 1-under-par 73-70=143 to lead the Buckeyes individually. Senior David Vallina (Burgettstown, Pa./Burgettstown) is second for the Buckeyes and stands in a tie for 29th overall after shooting 74-72=146 (+2).

Matt Harmon from Michigan State posted a score of 7-under-par (137) to lead in the individual standings. North Carolina leads the 15-team event after shooting 7-under 569.
