Men’s Golf Finishes 10th at Duke Golf Classic – Ohio State Buckeyes

Columbus, Ohio– The Ohio State men’s golf team finished in 10th place at the Coca-Cola Duke Golf Classic Monday. The Buckeyes shot 895 (296-300-299) over the two-day, 54-hole event at the Duke University Golf Club (par 72, 7,105) in Durham, N.C.
No. 21 Coastal Carolina won the event with a score of 851 (288-282-281). The Chanticleers led after two of the three rounds and finished with a 13-shot win over runner-up North Carolina. Dustin Johnson of Coastal Carolina won medalist honors after firing rounds of 69-68-70 for a score of 8-under 208.
Ohio State senior Colin Biles (Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington) tied for 11th to lead the Buckeyes with an individual season best three round total of 72-74-71 (217). Biles also tied for the tournament lead in total pars with 39.
The Buckeyes are back in action Oct. 15-17 at the Oak Tree Invitational in Edmond, Okla.
