Men’s Golf Tied for Third after 18 holes at Landfall Tradition – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio – The Ohio State men’s golf team is tied for third place at the Landfall Tradition with 36 holes left to be played. The Buckeyes shot 299 over the first 18 holes at the Country Club of Landfall (par 72, 6,982) in Wilmington, N.C., Friday.
Tulsa leads the tournament after shooting an opening round of 295. Mitch Cohlmia (Tulsa) and Bobby Knowles (Kansas) are tied for the tournament lead individually with a 1-under total of 71.
Ohio State sophomore Dan Rush (Cleveland, Ohio/St. Ignatius) leads the Buckeyes after shooting an even-par round of 72 and is tied for third individually.
Second round competition begins at 8:15 a.m. Saturday.
