Ohio State Men’s Golf Places 13th at Schenkel E-Z-Go Invitational – Ohio State Buckeyes

COLUMBUS, Ohio– The Ohio State men’s golf team finished 13th Sunday at the Schenkel E-Z-Go Invitational in Statesboro, Ga. The Buckeyes posted a final-round score of 292 and ended the event with a total of 904 (+40). The tournament was held at the par 72 Forest Heights Country Club (6,962 yards) and hosted by Georgia Southern University.
Ohio State’s Colin Biles (So., Columbus, Ohio/Upper Arlington) tied for 12th on the individual leaderboard after firing a career-best 65 (-7) in the final round. Biles, who finished with a score of 219 (+3), posted the low round of the tournament. Scott Anderson (Sr., Great Falls, Mont./Great Falls) and Michael Haverfield (Fr., Louisville, Ky./St. Xavier) tied for 54th with marks of 230 (+14) while teammate Zack Randol (Jr., Lawrence, N.Y./Woodberry Forest) tied for 58th with a score of 232 (+16).
Duke claimed the team title at the tournament, shooting 868 (+4). South Carolina’s Mark Anderson and Jon David Kennedy of Georgia Southern tied for first individually, posting scores of 215 (-1).
Ohio State returns to action April 9-10 at the Marshall Invitational in Huntington, W. Va.
